I moved to Santa Paula four years ago and quickly fell in love with this very unique town. I bring the experience of serving on the Planning Commission and Design Assistance Committee as well as being a former Downtown Santa Paula business owner. I am a mother and entrepreneur. I know that as Santa Paula grows, we have to make compassionate and deliberate decisions to protect our community members and usher in the future of Santa Paula. I believe that it is the job of City Council to listen to the community and work to create equity for all. That is what I plan to do.
Work with the county to ensure that Santa Paula has a more equitable share of social service resources like mental health and substance abuse counseling.
Support the development of affordable housing and prioritize availability for current residents. Encourage development that leads to affordable home ownership and rents.
Investing in recreational programs, mental health services and job training/counseling. Building food sharing program/youth-led community garden.
